Last month I spent a week in Colorado wandering, hiking, relaxing, painting, and taking an unreasonable amount of photographs. I’ve tried to chip away at selecting a collection of my favorites, but somehow I find myself still wading through photographs from the first day.
We started the trip by driving up Pike’s Peak on a clear, bright, and sunny day. The sky was cobalt blue and fluffy white clouds cast shadows across the rocks and valleys. It all made for the perfect day to view the world from 14,000 feet.
